Blueberry Hill Farm
Miniature Horses
In 2001 I bought 10 acres with a log cabin on it.  The logs
came from a cabin in Westminster, which were numbered
and reconstructed on the lot.  We put up fencing and a
barn to prepare to bring my Tennessee Walkers to live on
the property.  I also added an addition to the house to
accommodate our large family.  It went from a 2
bedroom, 1.5 bath house to a 5 bedroom, 4.5  bath
house with a finished basement.  We also added a goat
barn with a chicken house and hay loft and a run-in shed.

I named the farm after my grandfather, whom I adored.
His favorite song was "Blueberry Hill", a Fats Domino song
recorded in 1956, the year I was born.
Who We Are
Kitchen/Dining Room
Living Room
Our goldfish, catfish, frog, pond.
The horse barn in a snow storm, built for
me by two very special people, my Dad
and Rick.
I enjoy working in the garden and canning/freezing
for winter.   All of our vegetables are grown
organically with absolutely no pesticides.  There is
plenty of natural fertilizer on the farm!
The goat barn which also houses a flock of chickens and
the pig was built by another special person in my life,
John, owner of Kare Home Improvement.
Our "park" area  is in front of the barn with hammocks,
picnic tables, Tiki torches and fire pit.
I consider myself to be a "down to earth" type person. I
love my family, my animals and my farm.  In order to
feed and shelter all those that depend on me, I have to
earn a living.  I've chosen to be a real estate agent.  Of
course what I love most is a buyer who is looking for a
farm, but it is also very rewarding to help someone find
their first home.  I've been a real estate agent for over
11 years.  I'm licensed in Maryland and Pennsylvania.  I
mostly work in Carroll County, upper Baltimore County
and Southern Pennsylvania.  Generally, I love what I do
and the flexibility it gives me to take care of the farm.  If
you'd like to help me put food  in the buckets, if you
know of someone interested in buying or selling a house
please have them contact me.  All of my clients as well
as people who refer a client to me that settles on a
house, receives an opportunity for a FREE 3 night stay at
our West Virginia cabin.
The Rest of the Family:
I thought maybe this rainbow over the barn was a
sign of better times to come.
One of God's gifts seen from our front yard.
This is what happens when a pot belly pig
grows up! Where did her legs go?!
Our free roam rooster catching a ride on "Dewey". He
has his Angora winter coat on like his father, that he
sheds in layers in the spring.  He has a Nubian coat
like his mother throughout the summer months.
Although I'm more of a dog person, we have quite a
few cats.  All are spayed or neutered. Since the feral
father cat has no tail, several of our kittens have been
born without tails. "Bun Buns" even hops like a rabbit!!
Two newer members of the family,
"Charlie" and "Todd", since the passing of
our beloved "Peanut" and "Sabrina".
Peanut, Jesse, Puppy and Sabrina.

"Puppy" is what you get when Jesse and
Sabrina run off together for a few days!
We hatch chicks every year and always have
fresh, jumbo brown eggs with an occasional
white , green and blue one.
